Today we did a duck/pheasant combo with Robert Onesian and his son. We started the morning hunting ducks in the wetland but were stuck in the ground fog as all of the birds worked above us. We stuck it out in the blind until 9:00 and ended up with 5 ducks before deciding to go try for pheasants. The pheasant hunt had plenty of action and we ended up killing 3 roosters and letting several others get away. Those wild pheasants can be a real challenge. Either way it was a great hunt with good company.
