1-7-11

Today I guided Mark, Rob, and Randy from San Jose. The morning started off a little slower than usual, but near 9:30 the birds really started to fly. The birds were very stubborn this morning and I really had to work at it to get the birds to decoy. We picked away at the birds 1 at a time and ended the morning with a nice strap of mixed ducks. In total we ended up with 21 ducks and 3 snow geese for the four of us and there is no reason other than several blown chances as to why we did not end up with 28 ducks. All in all it was a great hunt. I sure hope the fog stays around for a few more days!!!
