This morning I hunted with Les and Phil. The weather was clear and calm but there were quite a few birds flying. Right at legal shooting light a drake canvasback came in and Les put the hammer down! Not long after Phil went to work and before we knew it we pieced together a good shoot, ending the morning with 11 birds and letting several others get away! Not bad for a no weather day!
